My Workplace Dilemma

I have a seat right next to you, 
I don't want to be anywhere else now.
Other than right here, right now. 
I am falling into the abyss, you won't be able to save me. 
I've all but consumed my burning candle.
I have yet more to give, more than ever before, are you ready?

I am melting inside, drop by drop.
I'm your vessel, you'll have me soaring through highs and lows.

Forever together, a fate so eternal it's hard to even see clearly anymore. 

I will cook for you and I will clean for you. 
I will breathe for you, I will sleep for you. 
Is anything even for me or mine anymore?

Never Settle is a Myth

 Now that I'm earning money and my family is comfortably settled in my hometown Kolkata, I alone toil at my workday day in and day out. It is very hard for me to believe that there are still people out there hankering for marks at some teacher's desk saying their parents will hit them hard with a chappal if they don't pass and these kids will mostly be boys because I think most girls pass in school with flying colors. Kudos to my my above par learning capabilities coupled with a self made mindset to achieve all my goals till my dreams become a living reality. 

In the past few years, I have not met a soul yet who didn't say that their dream car is Ferrari, I recently saw a video that claimed that if I stop smoking cigarettes right about now I could buy my dream car at 40! Which being a Ferrari means that I will have to quit smoking. A very hard habit to quit as a young adult in today's world. I now am 5 feet 2 inches of pure  unadulterated joy that fills my lungs with every clear breath I breathe. 

I have ditched this vice now or I might realize I have a funny feeling in my lungs one day. No one ever wants to look like the guy on the box I'm sure.

Definitely Maybe

We are holding on to our lives by the hinges. Very incomprehensible and the most intricate thing on the planet. Most probably we do not even have any other being in existence other than ourselves and if you don't realize that and work towards your goal nothing else will. 

We need to find motivation within ourselves and teach ourselves to be good samaritan that is responsible for themselves and enthusiastic about life. My freedom is only limited to myself and that is the most responsibility you can handle. We need to be secure in our skin and within our bodies. Treat your body like a temple and you shall have infinite freedom when you're completely in control of yourself. You are the engine that drives you; you can change gears anytime you want and it will mean the world to you and only you. 

You are responsible not only for yourself but also for the lives around you, you need to keep reminding yourself that you understand nature. If you flow with the river you will reach your destination but if you try to swim against it, most probably you will be stuck in the same spot your entire life. We need to be open-minded if we want to accept ourselves first then the rest. 

Work relentlessly towards your goal and the rest will follow. 👽

Our Lives: A Brief Memoir

 We are all just one small piece of the puzzle that is life. We are the way we are because we were sent to the Earth with a purpose, which is to experience earthy life on our own terms. We have never been freer as we are at the top of the food chain and in full control of our actions. 

We need to live our lives honestly and realize the importance of self-discipline if we want to succeed in our endeavors. We are constantly at a war with ourselves and represent god, the highest energy in all our actions. We need to remeber that actions speak louder than words and after a point life is nothing but Dharma. Dharma towards our community, society and the very fact of our existence. We are by nature animals that chose at step to rise towards higher energies which make our living larger than life itself. We need to know and acknowledge our self worth whenever we are in doubt and remeber that we are playing certain roles on this planet that determine our future directly. 

Anyone who is even remotely spiritual understands that spirituality is not a hidnerance; spirituality is in fact the greatest gift mankind received from their maker. the supreme source of energy did not blindly create this world without thinking for each one of us. We are two parts of one big whole. Remind yourself in times when you're losing your faith that help will come if you ask for it.

we are God's children and blessed to be a part of this experience. Live life to the fullest! And never let anything or anyone get you down. You are the master of your own self and always be aware of that in any situation. Believe that your current situation i of your own making and one day it will all make sense, so till then constantly reward yourself for your good deeds because they are what determine your character the most. 💗

Children at Heart

We are all growing old and have no concerns seemingly about life and death. We all just want to enjoy the time we have together left on this planet Earth. If I have big problems in life I will keep trying to find bigger solutions to them, we are all just pawns in the big picture. There is no one else here but us, in the entire expanse of the universe, to me everyone is an alien trying to figure out their way of living life so we can all settle down and enjoy the ride that's been prepared for us by the supreme energy that is 'I'.

Have you ever thought about how blessed you are with all of the organs and limbs that you have inside your body, being cancer free and knowing you have a lifetime to live? In this video game, we have all the control, and not once will we ever lose that, because someone said, "A man is completely free when they realize they can be in full control of themselves."

Old age is not something to be afraid of or even deter in any way. Age like fine wine and you shall be the happiest human being.Life is here to teach us certain lessons that we have left to learn and for the sake of those we will keep taking re-births and decide our destiny by ourselves. We are nature and nature is beyond comprehension. You either live with nature or work against it which honestly will not get you nowhere. Be on a straight path to get to where you want in life. And remeber to always do what makes you feel young! There's no stopping you! You are the best. 💗

Why is Caste System in India Still Pevalent?

I am a 24-year-old woman who has seen life, been there done that in this 21st-century world. I have everything to look forward to, my immense growth in the IT industry being one of them. And if in all of this chaos there's one thing that has remained unchanged, it is the fact that caste is still the deciding factor for a lot of important decisions made in our country. For your information, the hierarchy goes as follows.

The things that depend on this kind of hierarchy are promotions, job vacancies, marriages, relationships, hospitality, and even friendships. We are under a lot of pressure anyway, we don't need to have another one of the people in this world have the kind of mindset that they do because otherwise we will all divide instead of unite and that will be a huge problem for most of us. Let's all try and be happy where we are, live & let live. I personally am from the Brahmin caste and it defines my very individuality in society. Believe it or not, we are all victims of judgments based on the above hierarchy. Be sure to not indulge in activities that encourage such discrimination otherwise we will have failed as a nation.

A Ghost Story

 I was walking on a lonely dark road when... I heard a branch snapping behind me. I turned around to check if there was anyone around but I could not see properly. I felt immense fear bubble up inside me as I increased my pace in an attempt to outrun whoever or whatever it was that I had heard. It had been a while since I had felt this helpless because at 1:00 a.m. in the night you do not expect anyone to be out alone, especially a girl that too in India. 

I had heard stories about this area before but to experience the fear firsthand was something else. As I was walking wondering how long before I reached home I look behind me and saw a silhouette of a thin bald man at some distance. I froze in fear. A whimper escaped my throat. I ran for my life and when I looked back I could see that the figure was on all fours following me. Luckily bright lights loomed up as a car came close! I screamed for help wildly waving my arms! The car stopped beside me, and a lady and her child looked at me and asked if I wanted a lift. I said yes and quickly opened the door and settled in. "You have to leave now!" I urged. 

The lady obliged and immediately without any further questions, turned on the ignition. 

That's when we all heard it, ".....rrrrrrrrrrr". Upon turning our necks we saw a disfigured bald man sitting on the trunk of the vehicle. The child screamed and fainted as me and the lady fiddled with her keys but the car wouldn't start and was making sounds when a loud noise followed by a pipe breaking underneath the car. 

The bald figure suddenly with amazing speed and strength, hit the glass and shattered it...

The next morning saw a bloodied car with no bodies to be found. No one in the town spoke of it and the newspapers passed off the incident as a missing person report.

The town was famous, for there lived a cannibal in the dark jungles.

Calm After the Storm

Render me speechless. Can someone tell me a sweet story about a girl about to die, taking her last breath, making her last wish? A little heads up though, her last wish is the one that comes true.

Come hither, close enough so she can see you. Give her a reason to believe, give her a reason to feel. Save her from the thunder she thinks is real. 

Rarely do you find her owing up to her disbelief, is it a life she's prepared to lead?

Head over to her, give her your shoulder when she weeps. Damp with sweat, her cheeks are flushed red. Time-bound is her journey can you give her what she needs?

It's not the solid truth, it's the petty lies that she believes. Learning to give more regardless is her idea of closure. Ban her pleasures and trap her in a butcher shop, she is ready to be vicious. Fan her flames with the oxygen of heed, it's a miracle to just let her breathe. 

Existence is what she longs for in this world of endless greed.

Talented Much?

List out all the things that make you happy

Is it the blue sky?

Is it the crooked smile?

Is it the forbidden fruit?

Is the life you live?

Is it the person you met?

Is it the city you left?

Or are they the lights you missed?

Never enough is it. Tell me how it is, and maybe I'll share my story with you. Everything comes at a price but what price are you willing to pay for it? 

Would you kill, would you bleed, would you hum a tune for her?

Would you die, would you lie, would you buy something for her?

Would you cry, would you fly, would you love her for her?

Dreamers never get it easy and it's the price that they pay. I'm an artist and it's a process that you embrace. All the silver linings aren't always made of lace. 

Can someone tell me how to win at life and how to race?

Rats are the one's best at it. But what they don't teach you at school is can someone buy happiness? Perspective was my first choice, I thought it would change everything I felt about it. But frankly, it's not that easy. It takes a certain gift to be able to harness the light inside you. Fear is what holds you back and it's supposed to be the drive that gets you to the finish line.

Be nice, be generous, spread love, it's literally all that we can gift the world. 

Blush, smile, be honest, most of all with yourself.

Life of an Addict

 Sometimes, the reality you are looking for is within you. If not life, if not love, it's drugs, you have to go out to look for it hoping you'll find it, because it doesn't always come easily to you. Meet it halfway maybe you'll connect together in ways you couldn't even imagine. Now I never believed in love or in my lovers but I made it all worth it for me. Does that make me selfish? maybe, but that's just the way life is, not everyone can be a Mother Teresa can they? Opening your heart up to people in your life takes effort, patience, persistence, and sweetness.

Can people be loved and love at the same time? or can you just do one of these things at a time? 

It's tough to love and even tougher to be loved. To receive you have to be heartless, which is a paradoxical concept. What I believe in is eternity and forever. Hard to get, harder to revive. But the effort is worth the fruit. Time has never been an obstacle but it has always been a factor, the number of variables involved in the journey of life and lies is immense and sometimes you drown and get trapped in your own web but the answer is to let yourself fall. Fall down, get up, move and groove. 

Life is all about seizing opportunities whenever they come your way, you never miss the bus there's always going to be another one to catch. It is human nature to feel disheartened whenever you hit the blues. The challenge is to get past and jump over, slide under or avoid the obstacle completely it is the calculative mind that gets the result. The early bird gets the worm but the late riser gets more sleep. What is more important for you at the moment is for you to decide.

Warning Bells

Let's just say I've never been good with first impressions. What would I do if it weren't for google? How to make a boy fall in love with you, fast. Might actually just be the only thing I searched for if you happened to go through my browsing history, one day before I went for any date. Thankfully I've never been stood up, yet. Dating is definitely hard especially at this ripe age of 22 when hormones are wreaking havoc in your system and there seems to be no way out. Nut one out I believe how guys do it. Girls? Every single one has their own way. Me? I create trouble. 

Only for myself though, when I'm bored. Helps me cope with all the bigger stresses life poses. I take them as challenges to my sanity because I swear I would go crazy if it were not for these, I'd forgotten how to feel. And now I can't stop feeling.
